On the 26th of June the FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met the delegation of the Austrian Chess Federation led by Prof. Kurt Jungwirth. The Presidents discussed the preparation for the 39th Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk, for the Presidential Board in Tromso. Prof. Jungwirth was very much enthusiastic of the results of the FIDE delegation participation in the SportAccord meeting in Dubai, and relationship between FIDE and IOC as well as the possible ways of recognition of the Austrian Chess Federation
by the NOC of Austria.
