On the 25th of June there was a working meeting of the FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov with the ECU President Boris Kutin. The two Presidents discussed the issues in respect of the preparation and organisation of the Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk, current problems of the chess development in the European Continent, and also visited the Slovenian Junior and Girls U-20 National Championships. Messrs. Ilyumzhinov and Kutin also met the mayor of the city of Maribor - Mr. Kangler.
