In 10, 11, 17 and 18 July 2010 the
first Internet-based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was held, organized by the North American Chess Association, in cooperation with the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and under the auspices of FIDE.
The lecturer of the seminar was IA Panagiotis Nikolopoulos (GRE), Chairman of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and assistant lecturer was IA/IO Sevan Muradian (USA), Founder of the North American Chess Association.
17 Arbiters from USA, Mexico and Canada attended the seminar on Internet.
The Lectures were presented through a web-conferencing platform and included three sessions of 5 hours, while in the last session was the examination test, sent and returned by the participants by e-mail.
The following nine (9) succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
