World Cadets Chess Championship 2016 has started in Batumi |

The World Cadets Chess Championship has started in Batumi (Georgia) on October 19th. The tournaments will take place in Sheraton Hotel from 18th till 31st of October. 728 players and more than one thousand accompanying persons from 66 countries have arrived to Batumi. All participants are accommodated in branded five star hotels: "Sheraton", "Radisson", "Hilton", "Colosseum Marina", "Intourist Palace", "Divan Suite". The first round started at 3 pm local time on the 19th of October. The symbolic first move was made by the Chairman of Ajara AR Government Zurab Pataradze at the presence of the President of European Chess Union Zurab Azmaiparashvili, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Adjara Avtandil Beridze and the President of Georgian Chess Federation George Giorgadze.
Few international events will be organized during the championship: 21 - 23 October FIDE Trainer's Seminar with GM & FST Adrian Mikhalchishin, GM &FST Mikhail Gurevich. 22 - 25 October FIDE Arbiter's Seminar with IA Vardapetyan Ashot. 25 - 26 October International Conference - "Chess in School".
