On July 16-17 Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visited Athens. During the meetings with Mr. Georgios Makropoulos they discussed issues of the preparation for the upcoming 42nd World Chess Olympiad and FIDE Congress in Baku, World Chess Championship Match in New York and other official tournaments of the calendar.
