On June 21st, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visited Saint Petersburg where he met with Vice Governor of Northern capital Igor Albin. The meeting was held at the football stadium which is being constructed for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The both sides discussed the issues of potential bilateral cooperation.
The same day Kirsan Ilyumzhinov took part in the joint session of Science Council of Academic University and Presidium of Saint Petersburg Science Center of Russian Academy of Science (RAS). The Diplomas and badges have been awarded to the Honorary Doctors of Academic University – Prof. Steven Chu, Nobel Prize winner in Physics, and Vladislav Panchenko, Academician of RAS.
