On April 29 in Moscow Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met with the leadership of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo). The both sides discussed the results of the first year’s joint project on attracting the most talented foreign students for studying chess in the Russian universities. The Deputy Heads of Rossotrudnichestvo Alexey Frolov and Dmitry Guzhelya told in detail about the new system of students’ enrollment introduced this year and provided the necessary recommendations for the further project promotion. The sides agreed to put all efforts to ensure that all who wish to get the chess education in Russia could fulfill their plans, also it was agreed to prepare and sign the memorandum of joint actions to promote chess in different countries.
