On April 26 in Moscow Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met with the President of the National Olympic Committee of Russia, Deputy Speaker of State Duma Alexander Zhukov. The both sides discussed the preparations for the World Championship Match to be held in New York this November, the results of the SportAccord Convention held last week in Lausanne, as well as the upcoming meeting of the International Olympic Committee session in Brazil, to which the FIDE President received an invitation, and other issues of mutual interest.
