FIDE President visited the exhibition in Abu Dhabi |

On October 6th an exhibition "Art Russe Collection of 20th Century Russian and Soviet Art: War and Peace" was opened in the capital of UAE in one of the most prestigious and luxurious hotel of the country "Emirates Palace". The exhibition in Abu Dhabi was organised under auspices of FIDE as the Art Russe Fund and Russian chess federation signed earlier an agreement on cooperation.
A symbolic red ribbon was cut by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development of UAE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.
In the opening ceremony present were: FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, President of RCF Andrey Filatov; representatives of diplomatic corps, artistic elite, business circles and mass media.
More than 120 pieces of art of the famous Russian and Soviet artists such as Roerich, Serov, Vuchetich, Reshetnikov, Korzhev, Dantsig, Mukhina and many others were performed at the exhibition.
Exhibition was attended by the French architect Jean Nouvel
