On behalf of the World Chess Federation (FIDE) and me personally I heartedly congratulate all Muslims all over the world on the occasion of a great and holy holiday – URAZA BAIRAM, celebration the end of the Holy month Ramadan.
This holiday symbolizes the greatness of belief, hope and love, strengthens the believers' mind, turns their thoughts and feelings to the great ideals of humanism. It embodies such basic values as compassion and mercifulness, good and fairness, tolerance and mutual understanding. I am confident that the eternal moral values of Islam will further better interconfessional dialogue, strengthening of national accord between peoples and states.
