On June 27 the FIDE President arrived to Cali, Colombia for the opening ceremony of 26th Pan-American Youth Chess Championship. 710 chess players from 24 countries of the American continent participate in the tournament, which is held from June 27 to July 4. The spectacular opening ceremony was held on June 28 in the Cali’s Palace of Sport.
