Registration

Time has come to start the registration for the World Youth Championships. This will be done electronically through PAGEMS, FIDE’s official online registration system. Here is the procedure that needs to be followed.

Each Federation must appoint one person to handle the national entry on behalf of the Federation; no individual entries are possible. This person – the national representative - must first register with the system. To do so, he/she should go to the Internet address:

and follow the instructions on the screen. A valid email address is required, and this will be his/her user id with the system. Do not use the Federation email address for the national representative. The Federations must inform the organizers (by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) of the name and email address of their national representative, so that their role can be assigned.

Entries will be accepted as follows: official players and additional players – all affiliated with the National Federation entering them - in each of the 12 categories of the championships. One captain and Accompanying persons per national delegation.

All players need to be in the FIDE official database and have a FIDE id. Those who do not, must be entered in the FIDE database first, as this is the only way to be registered for the championships.

The deadline for registrations is 24 August 2015.

Once submitted, all entries are assigned the accreditation status pending. This will be changed by the authorized accreditors after considering the applications. Only registrations with accreditation status accepted will be able to submit accommodation requests and travel information for the persons’ transfer from Thessaloniki’s Macedonia airport (SKG) to the Porto Carras hotel complex (venue of the championships).
