FIDE President met with Iranian Ambassador in Moscow Print

On May 28th the FIDE President met in Moscow with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Islamic Republic of Iran to Russian Federation Dr. Mehdi Sanaei. The head of Iranian diplomatic mission is also the Professor of the University of Tehran, who speaks Russian very well. This is not his first visit to Russia. The issues of the upcoming FIDE President's working visit to Iran were discussed. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov is planning to meet with the Minister of Sport and President of the NOC to discuss the organization and conduct of one the Women's FIDE Grand Prix stages in February next year.
