Visit to Azerbaijan

On April, 16 2015 FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov arrived in Azerbaijan to the city of Shamkir.  He took part in the opening ceremony of the second Vugar Gashimov Memorial (April, 16 - 26) - Super tournament of the 21st category, one of the strongest competitions this year. The ceremony took place in the Town Center of Heydar Aliyev - ultramodern building, launched 1.5 years ago. General sponsor of the tournament is the company "Synergy Group".
