In Lome, Togo, from 13th to 22nd March 2015, the Togolese Chess Federation (FTDE) hosted the 2015 Zone 4.4 Individual Chess Championships with the participation of 36 players from 7 federations: Central African Republic, Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Togo.
A visit to Lome beach, these championships were a very friendly time.
Ahead of 28 players, International Master Oladapo Adu, elo 2199 from Nigeria won the Open section with 8 points over 9 rounds.
In the Women section, the Nigerian player Omolabake Coker, elo 1599 won the 7 rounds robin with a perfect score of 7/7.
Before the closing ceremony, a 9 rounds blitz tournament has been organized, the winner was Bomo Kigigha with 7.5 points.
In his closing words, the zonal President, Michel Nguele Viang delivered a message from the African Chess Confederation President.
