On January 23, the FIDE delegation including President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, Vice President Andrey Filatov and Assistant to President Berik Balgabaev visited Monaco, where they had a meeting with the President of Monaco Chess Federation Jean-Michel Rapaire and the leadership of Monte Carlo casino. The both sides discussed the possibility of holding one of the Women's Grand Prix stages scheduled for 2-16 October in the casino. The guests examined the premises of the playing hall, press center, halls for the opening and closing ceremonies. It is expected that the participants will be accommodated in the neighboring to the casino Fairmont Hotel and food will be served in the casino. The tournament will be held under the patronage of Prince Albert.
