FIDE President arrived to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to take part in the opening ceremony of All-Russian Children's Chess Festival «Kamchatka Cup», one of the stages of Russian Cup among boys and girls. One hundred sixty chess players from all around Kamchatka and Transbaikalia will compete in the sports and recreation complex «Zvezdniy». FIDE President met with Andrey Ivanov, Minister of Sports and Youth of Kamchatka Krai, and Yuriy Maximov, President of the regional chess federation.
