 FIDE, All India Chess Federation and Hyatt Regency Chennai are conducting final preparation for the FIDE World Chess Championship Match between Viswanathan Anand and Magnus Carlsen.
The playing room and spectators area are being arranged and the soundproof glass has been installed.
The technical meeting and press conference should take place tomorrow at 1pm at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Anna Salai, Chennai. Both the players, World Champion Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand and his challenger World No.1, Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen shall be presented on the occasssion and will address the media.
The opening ceremony is afterwards, at 4pm, at the Nehru Indoor Stadium. More information:
