On August 13 the FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov made a working visit to Armenia where he had a meeting with the President of Armenia, President of Armenian Chess Federation Serzh Sargsyan. The Presidents discussed the measures conducted towards chess development in Armenia, victories of Armenian chess players in competitions, as well as the wide range of issues on expansion of cooperation between FIDE and the Armenian Chess Federation.
