FIDE reminds all interested players who wish to participate in the forthcoming World Rapid & Blitz Championships to be held in Khanty Mansiysk, Russia that the registration for the events should be made by the 1st of May 2013 following which the registration charge will double.
The prize money for each World Championship is 200,000 US Dollars. For the first time in the history of the events, they are open to all players nominated by their Federations or else with ratings over 2500.
