Today FIDE President arrived to Yerevan on invitation of Armenian side where he is participating in the session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia devoted to the inauguration of the Armenian President Serzh Sargsian. We remind you that Armenian President Serzh Sargsian was re-elected to the new tenure on the post of President of Armenia on February 18, 2013. FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov and the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsian have long-standing business and friendly relations associated with the development of chess in Armenia, as the head of Armenia is also a president of the Armenian Chess Federation.
