The FIDE President has been awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of the Tashkent branch of the Moscow Economic University named after G. Plekhanov at the meeting of the Tashkent Branch Board. Mr. Ilyumzhinov has also been awarded with a special Badge of Honour.
