On October 22 the FIDE President arrived on a working visit to Turkey to meet with the representatives of the Turkish government and discuss the chess development issues in the country, joint collaboration on implementation of CIS programme as well as the holding of international chess tournaments in Turkey. Particularly, the project to hold in Trabzon city a children’s chess tournament among the kids of Black Sea countries was discussed. At the meetings also present was the FIDE President’s Advisor, Mr. Murat Dzhummanov.
