FIDE President Mr. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met with Mr. Gennady Timchenko, a prominent businessman, co-founder of Gunvor international B.V., President of Hockey club SKA (Saint Petersburg). They discussed the chess in schools and the possibilities to hold the joint events. FIDE President thanked Mr. Timchenko for being one of the sponsors of Anand-Gelfand Match in Moscow this year and for organizing a reception for the chess players with President of Russia, Mr. Vladimir Putin.
