On 28 September 2012 the FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov had an official working visit to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. There he had a meeting with Svetlana Bukambayeva, Deputy President of Kyrgyzstan Chess Federation. The Parties discussed the questions of chess development in Kyrgyzstan.
