Working visit of the FIDE President to Kyrgyzstan |

On 13 March the FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov arrived on an official visit in Bishkek, Republic of Kyrgyzstan. There he had a working meeting with Omurbek Babanov, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan. They discussed the issues of cooperation between FIDE and the government of Kyrgystan in the sphere of chess development in the country. An agreement between FIDE and the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan on chess development and implemetantion of chess in school's curriculum was signed by Kirsan Ilyumzhinov and Gulzhigit Soronkulov, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic.
Besides, the President had a meeting with Murat Saralinov, the President of the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan, and Baigazi Kenzhebaev, the Director of the State Agency of Physical Culture and Sport of the Government office of Kyrgyz Republic.
