The Events Commission is pleased to announce that the Executive Board in Krakow had approved the application of International Organiser title to a record number of 88 candidates. In view of the encouraging response, the Executive Board agreed to extend the deadline for direct application to 15th January 2012. After this deadline, all applicants will be required to attend a seminar and to pass an examination.
The deadline for bids for the following events shall be 1st March 2012:
FIDE World Junior Championships 2014
FIDE World Schools Championships 2014
FIDE World Senior (>50 & >65) Championships 2014
FIDE World Amateur (
FIDE World Youth U16 Olympiad 2014
FIDE World Girls Invitational Championship 2012, 2013, 2014
