FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov was honored with the Highest Award "Buddhakunupakhan" by the Committee of Religion, Art and Culture of the Thai Parliament for making a valuable contribution to the spreading of Buddhism all over the world.
The awarding ceremony will be held on 23 April 2011 and will be droadcast on the Internet-site of Thai channel DMC: www.dmc.tv.
