 Dear Kirsan Nikolaevich! Let me sincerely thank you for your trust and for appointing me to the post of the Senior Adviser to the FIDE President. It is a great honor to me to serve to the chess development, to this noble Game, in the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the limits of my strength and the possible and with great pleasure I shall assist to the organization of the Candidate Matches in Kazan as well as to the new project “Chess FIDE Academies”, where such an honorary mission is also given to the capital of our Republic. I am sure that by the joint efforts we shall be able to achieve more successes in popularization and development of chess division.
