in Paris FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov had a meeting with the President of International Mind Sports Association Mr. Jose Damiani. The questions of cooperation of International Mind Sports Association and FIDE as well as the organizational issues of holding the World Mind Games in 2011 were discussed during the meeting. The possibility of organising an IMSA Mind Games in 2012 in Manchester was discussed as well as co-operating on the Sport Accord Mind Games planned for the end of 2011.



On 21 November 2010 in Lausanne, the FIDE President met with the President of Sport Accord, Mr. Hein Verbruggen. Additionally, Mr. Ilyumzhinov met several Heads of other International Sports Federations.

The questions of collaboration of Association of International Sports Federations and FIDE and of organization of holding of the World Mind Games in 2011 in Beijing were talked over during the meeting.



On 22 November 2010, in Lausanne, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov took part in the international forum of the international sports federations which was opened by the President of the International Olympic Committee Mr. Jacques Rogge. Forum was held under the chairmanship of the President of SportAccord Mr. Hein Verbruggen.

Kirsan Ilyumzhinov spoke to the President of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games Mr. Amar Addadi, General Director of Master Games Mr. Jens Holm, President of IBU Mr. Anders Besseberg, President of ARISF Mr. Jan Fransoo.
