FIDE President's meeting with Chess Federation of Israel |

On August 10, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov arrived on a working visit to Tel Aviv, Israel, where he met with the President of Israeli Chess Federation Aviv Bushinsky. At the meeting were also present Executive Director of Israeli CF Yigal Loutan and FIDE Delegate Almog Burstein, members of Israeli CF Board Igor Ginzburg and Moshe Barzilai and Honorary FIDE Vice President Israel Gelfer. During the meeting Mr. Ilyumzhinov told in details about the preparations for the 39th World Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk, the issues in respect of development of chess in Israel were also discussed as well as the preparations for chess match of peace between the Palestinian and Israeli children on 1000 boards under the motto "Sport without borders, Chess without walls". Chess Federation of Israel will start the preparations of tripartite document for holding of this match. The representatives of Israeli CF aslo told about the implementation of "Chess in Schools" programme in schools of Israel.
