The Chinese grandmaster Yifan Hou won the Ulaanbatar FIDE Women Grand Prix 2010 edition. After 11 rounds she achieved 8,0/11, which secured her the first place. The title came after a hard fought draw in the last round against the second placed ex world champion GM Antoaneta Stefanova.


Third place was shared by GM Tatiana Kosintseva, GM Humpy Koneru, and GM Zhao Xue, while the legendary GM Maia Chiburdanidze finished 6th.
