Following an invitation by the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Mr Boyko Borisov, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov will visit Sofia on 16 December 2009 for a meeting with the Bulgarian Prime Minister concerning the upcoming FIDE World Championship Match between title holder Vishy Anand and challenger Veselin Topalov. During his visit, the FIDE President will also sign the contract between FIDE and the Organising Committee of this great event.
The exact dates of this exciting match in April 2010 and more details will be announced by FIDE after the meeting of 16 December in Sofia.
