New President of Chinese Chess Association |

Mr. Chu Bo is the new President of the Chinese Chess Association. His previous appointments have included Deputy Dean of Sports Department and Vice Director of Management Institute in Beijing Sports University. He was the Vice Director of Human Resources Department in the Chinese Olympic Committee and the Vice Director of Human Resources Department in General Sport Administration of China. He is also the Vice President of China Baseball Association, Chinese Extreme Sports Association and Federation of Automobile Sports of the People's Republic of China. In addition, he is the Secretary of the Communist Party of China Chess and Bridge Centre of General Sport Administration, responsible for the five sports of Chess, GO, Draughts, Bridge and Xiangqi (Chinese chess). Our great friend, Tian Hongwei (Abigail), is appointed the vice General Secretary and Director of Press & Publicity Department of the Chinese Chess Association.
