PRESS RELEASE by ALL INDIA CHESS FEDERATION
We are happy to inform you that a test match between India & Armenia chess teams will be held at New Delhi, India on the 30th November, 01st & 02nd December, 2008.
The match will be played on 4 Boards like the Chess Olympiad. There will be three such matches.
It is also agreed between India & Armenia that the players 21 years and below.
The composition of the teams will be as follows:

Rules & Regulations:
It will be a team event and each team will consist of four players and one reserve.
It will be a three match series. Games will be played on four boards.
At the end of each day, the winning team will get 2 points, losing team zero points and in case of draw 1 point each.
Drawing of lots will decide the colour on the first day and on second day, it will be with alternate colour.
Again for 3rd day lots will be drawn for the colour.
The team with maximum points after the third match will be the winner.
If the match score is equal after the third match, then the result of the test series will be declared as draw.
Timing will be 90 minutes of entire game with an increment of 30 seconds per move from first move onwards.
The Chief Arbiter will be FIDE ARBITER Mr.Gopakumar from Delhi.
