The 2008 edition of the Bosnia Sarajevo tournament was organized by the Sarajevo Chess Club "Bosna" at the Concert Hall of House Army. Alexander Morozevich, number three in FIDE April 2008 Rating List won the event comfortably with 7,5 points out of 10. Leinier Dominguez of Cuba took the second spot with 6 points. Sergei Movsesian of Slovakia took the third place with 5 points.
