The new tournament sub-domain for the Grand Prix tournament in Baku is setting new standards for chess websites. The media team has been steadily working in the first few days to provide the chess world with interesting and innovative material, particularly on the videos side.

The first innovation is the addition of commented video files which can be read in a variety of products. More details and videos can be found at :

Another innovation is the commentary which is being done live on the FIDE website, in Russian, by the well known Grandmaster and commentator, Sergey Shipov, and being translated into English immediately after each round ends.
