FIDE has renewed the Olympiad Technical Administrative Panel (TAP). These are the newly appointed members:

Alex Holowczak, from England (CHAIRMAN).
Shaun Press, from Papua New Guinea.
Sabrina de San Vicente, from Uruguay.
Vladimir Fedorov, from Russia.
Heinz Herzog, from Austria.

This new team is formed by young and experienced professionals from three different continents. We believe that this mix will provide the versatility required for the reforms that the Chess Olympiad demands. At this stage, TAP will work towards improving the pairing and tie-break systems for this competition.
