The first President of Tatarstan and the State Counselor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev made the first symbolic move in the game between two Russian players Alexandra Kosteniuk and Alexandra Goryachkina to mark the start of the FIDE Women`s Candidates in Kazan (Russia).
