World School Championship, Iasi, Romania

Friday, 21st of April, press conference in the ceremony hall of the Iasi City Hall. Messrs. Georgios Makropoulous, Deputy President of FIDE and Nigel Freeman, Executive Director of FIDE, attended the press conference, in the presence of Messrs. Mihai Chirica, mayor of Iasi, Sorin Iacoban, president of RCF, Vasile Manole, VP of RCF, president of the Iasi Chess Association and the chairman of the organizing committee, Alin Paunescu, General Director in Education Ministry and other officials. The official program of the event will continue on the 22nd of April with Technical meeting, opening ceremony and the first round.
