President of Iran Hassan Rouhani thanked FIDE President for WWCC

The President of Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani thanked Kirsan Ilyumzhinov for organizing the WWC Championship. And FIDE President expressed the gratitude to the Iranian side who took all the responsibility for holding the championship. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov noted the activity of the Iranian Chess Federation headed by Mehrdad Pahlevanzadeh. He also added that after the Carlsen-Karjakin match in New York, all attention of the chess world is gripped by Tehran, where the name of the new chess queen will be known. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov invited Iranian President to the closing ceremony of the championship.
