On February 9 in Tehran in Espinas Palace was held a press conference, devoted to the Women's World Chess Championship. It was attended by the FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, FIDE CEO Geoffrey Borg, President of Iranian Chess Federation Mehrdad Pahlevanzadeh and Iranian chess players - participants of the tournament. They spoke about the peculiarities of the upcoming championship and replied to the numerous questions of the journalists. Thus there will be not only the live internet transmission of each game but a video broadcasting. The Match Arbiters will be assigned to each competing pair of chess players. It is expected that the President of Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani, President of Moldova Igor Dodon and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of Iran Masoud Soltanifar and other officials will attend the opening ceremony.
