 FIDE has honor to announce the Decree of the President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma on the coming World Chess Championship Match Kasparov-Ponomariov to be held in Yalta, Ukraine, from 18 September to 6 October 2003.
FIDE has honor to announce the official Decree of the President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma on the coming World Chess Championship Match Kasparov-Ponomariov to be held in Yalta, Ukraine, from 18 September to 6 October 2003.
Decree of the President of Ukraine on the Organization of the World Chess Championship Match - To accept the initiative of World Chess Federation (FIDE) President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov to hold the World Chess Championship Match Kasparov (Russia)-Ponomariov (Ukraine) in September-October 2003 in Yalta, Ukraine.
- To establish the Organizing Committee of the World Chess Championship Match and to approve the list of its members (see below).
To appoint Ukrainian Prime-Minister Yanukovich Viktor Fedorovich the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Match.
- The Board of Ministers of Ukraine and the Council of Ministers of the Independent Republic of Crimea are to present possible ways of preparation for the Match.
