The International Chess Festival "Baku Open 2018", dedicated to the independent day of Azerbaijan Republic, will took place in "Spring" hotel, (near Caspian Sea, Novkhani, www.spring.az ) from November 23rd (day of arrival) to December 2nd.

The Tournament will be organized in 9-round Swiss system, the rate of play will be 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from move one. Total prize fund is 15 000$, first prize 4000$. Grandmasters with ELO higher than 2640 (according FIDE Rating List - 01 November 2018) are provided with accommodation and feed (the first 10 registered for the participant in tournament).
