Arco Open 2018 Print

The 40th International Chess Open Città di Arco was held from 13-21st October 2018 in Arco, Italy.

The event consisted of two sections, Open A an Open B (U1700). The total prize fund was 6000 EUR.

The tournament gathered 174 participants from 18 federations. Among them were 5 Grandmasters and 6 International Masters.

Hungarian IM Peter Lizak took a clear first place in the Open A with 7,5 points, half a point clear from his compatriot IM Bela Molnar and Spanish GM Jaime Santos.

In the Open B best was Krenar Arifi with 6,0/8 points.

The tournament was organized by Cristina Rigo and chief arbiter was IA Olexander Prohorov.
