The meeting with the President of the Republic of Moldova
Head of the Republic of Kalmykia, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visited the Republic of Moldova on 13 March 2008. He had a working meeting with the President of the Republic of Moldova Vladimir Voronin. The subject of the meeting was economic coperation of Kalmykia and Moldova in the framework of Russian-Moldavian relations. The project and the design of new Republic Chess Center was discussed at the meeting.
